Do you have nannies experienced with babies?
Yes, absolutely! All of our nannies have experience caring for babies, but we also have specialist nannies on our team who are truly dedicated to supporting families through the precious newborn stage. From milk feeds and safe sleep practices to weaning and early development, these nannies are confident, nurturing, and passionate about giving both baby and Mum the support they need during those first few months. Just let us know your needs- and we’ll match you with someone who truly understands this special time.
Will my child stay indoors all day?
Absolutely not- unless you’d prefer us to or your child is unwell.
We would never keep your child indoors all day unless that’s your specific request. Even then, we’ll make the most of the little moments—like a play on the sunny balcony or some fresh air just outside your door. With your consent, our nannies love to take children on big mountain adventures—exploring the resort, embracing nature, and making new friends with other Boubird families.
Every day is thoughtfully tailored to your wishes and your child’s unique rhythm—whether that’s cosy time indoors or joyful discoveries outdoors.
Can we decide to stay out later or request extra hours during our holiday?
Our nannies are usually, 99.9% of the time happy to work extra hours. We understand, the mountains are unpredictable in all kinds of ways, Après-ski can be difficult to leave, dinners turn into nights out. Just keep in good communication with your nanny. We will invoice you for any extra hours at the end of your holiday.
Do you provide a creche setting?
Not just yet—but maybe one day!
At the moment, our nannies work independently with each family, using your accommodation as a comfortable base. With your consent, your nanny will take the children on daily adventures around the resort, often meeting up with other Boubird nannies and little ones for some friendly, social fun. It’s the best of both worlds—personalised care with moments of connection and play.
Does the nanny provide lunch?
It's difficult for us to cater for every child's needs and preferences. Whilst we do not provide lunch, we can help you with the shopping, cook anything you lay out, pack a picnic and even get the kids involved when possible. For our little babies and toddlers, we will work closely with parents to ensure consistency in their milk feeds and meals.
Can I decide the times we need a nanny closer to our holiday?
We understand that planning a holiday with children can be a juggling act—and we’re here to make it easier. During non-peak weeks, we typically have more flexibility to accommodate your needs. During peak weeks, our nannies are in high demand, but we’ll always communicate clearly with you about availability and options.No matter when you travel, flexibility is something we always consider, and we’ll do our best to support your family every step of the way.
Our child has never been left with a nanny before, will they be OK?
Many of the families we support are leaving their child with a nanny for the very first time. Our nannies are gentle, nurturing, and highly experienced in helping children (and parents!) feel safe and comfortable. We always recommend an introductory meeting before your booking begins, so your child can get to know their nanny in a calm and familiar environment. The first day is taken slowly, with lots of reassurance, play, and cuddles, allowing your child to build trust and settle in at their own pace. We will be in constant communication with you.
